RxServer Network Services

RxServer Network Services (RNS) delivers the core infrastructure that will power the delivery of your business products. This includes electronic pedigrees, authentication and integrity capabilities with internal and external technologies.

Once subscribed to the RxServer Network of Services, you will receive all services listed below. All modules and products are optional, but they are included in our pricing model. Many of our customers opt to only use the epedigree portal and not the Distributor Portal or vice-versa. The choice is yours, but know that the service includes both products.

Services Included

ePedigree Portal - RxServer2
The RxServer2 delivers your epedigrees to support all state and federal pedigree regulations. Easy to create epedigrees that can be automated or manually created in under 20 seconds. We support integration with other supply chain management software or future RFID and mass serialization technologies. Service includes a epedigree portal for your customers to easily retrieve their pedigree documents over the web. Our epedigree portal support bio companies, pharmaceutical wholesalers, repackagers, specialty wholesalers, manufacturers and pharmacies.

Distributor Portal - RxServer2
Included with the RxServer2 is our distributor software that can quickly achieve connectivity with all of your trading partners. Once communication is established your company will offer their products on your personalized e-commerce site. RxServer2 offers complete support for webservices, flat files, XML, and custom file formats.

Digital Certificates
We provide and manage your digital certificates for signing electronic pedigrees and the security process of verifying credentials from your CDRs and partner CDRs.

Design Services
We will customize your portal site with your corporate logo and design look. Our service managers will closely work with your company to collect the necessary branding requirements needed for your deployment. Simple design included.

Compliance Consulting Services
We include consulting services to help your business process in meeting pedigree regulatory compliance and security. We work with industry known consultants that are up to date with pedigree regulatory compliance to meet industry standards.

Integration
We support integration with your vendor or proprietary software. Our engineers will work with your team in order to collect your integration requirements for your environment. This integration will also be provided for easy adaptation to your supply chain.

SaaS (Software as a Service)
We host your portal in our industry known data centers located in California and Florida. Our data centers utilizes redundant tier 1 connections to ensure that our network will not fail. Utilizing BGP, our routers pick the best path from your customers' network to ours. In the event that any of our redundant circuits fail, you can be sure that your Internet presence will be unaffected.

Additionally, all of our network equipment and circuits are monitored 24x7 and on-call engineers are available at all times in the event of a system outage.

Network Security
We follow security best practices in hardening our servers from:

• The Fedora Project
• CERT
• SANS

We currently subscribe to Fedora and Bugtraq for vulnerability advisories.
We hire our hosted data center to perform random network scans for vulnerability.

We internally scan our servers on a monthly basis with Nessus security scanner.

For additional security, a managed firewall is in place for a perimeter protection of our servers.

Storage - Disaster Recovery - Business Continuity
Your data is our highest priority when it comes to storage. That is the reason that our business continuity policy follows health care industry stringent policy and procedures when it comes to backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.

• Our servers have mirrored drives for fault tolerance.
• Data is backed up to a SAN (Storage Area Network)
• Data is backed up to a tape drive (encrypted)
• Tape drives are sent to an external facility outside of Florida. (Business Continuity)

Data Center

Our hosted data center meets stringent guidelines to make sure that your portal and data is safe, secure and reliable.

Our facilities utilize uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units with up to 24 hours of battery reserve at full load until emergency generator power is available.

Each backup generator is a 2000KW Diesel Caterpillar with the capability of maintaining emergency power for up to 72 hours with a contracted response time from various fuel vendors.

Our hosted facilities incorporate multiple levels of security. Every door is secured with either key card access or a combination lock with several checkpoints between physical entry to the building and access to the racks. Video surveillance cameras on the properties are located inside the building recording all activity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each cabinet is individually secured with combination locks, and our stringent customer escort policy further protects server access.

The facilities are cooled by two 5-ton HVAC units providing chilled water to the Liebert air handling units. These units are capable of keeping air temperatures at 70 degrees or below. The data center is also equipped with monitoring and alarm notification for temperature, humidity, and air-flow fluctuations.
